2FA via SMS

Daito allows you to receive SMS-based two-factor authentication codes without needing your own phone number.

Simply go to the "SMS" tab in the left navigation menu. Here, you can start your real mobile phone number trial hosted by Daito.

Click "Get Started" to begin your free 7-day trial. While the Daito Authenticator trial itself doesn't require any payment information, we require it for the SMS trial due to legal and regulatory reasons.

You can try your SMS number completely free for 7 days. If you decide to keep it after the trial period, it will be automatically added to your account and billed accordingly.

You can cancel the SMS trial at any time before the 7-day end.

This is a fully functional phone number (not a VOIP number) that can receive SMS messages. You will then be able to use this number for 2FA across many popular services that support SMS verification:

When logging into any accounts secured with Daito that send 2FA codes via SMS, the codes will appear directly in the SMS tab. All users in your organization will be able to access incoming 2FA tokens through your shared SMS inbox. This allows seamless verification without requiring your own device.

The hosted phone number is a paid add-on only available to paying customers. Each phone number costs $49/month on top of your Daito subscription.

It provides a simple solution for 2FA when personal phones cannot be used.
